Breakscape USA offers several family-friendly brands (Archery Games, Room Escape and Boston Playground) in its 13,000 square foot facility - and is looking for a General Manager with GREAT people skills (customers, staff and partnerships).

We host thousands of events each year and are looking for a General Manager that can drive growth for the company while maintaining a culture of positivity and professionalism.

Job Purpose:

The General Manager at Breakscape provides business leadership and operational oversight to the facility. The GM's ability to make sound decisions and implement strategies to meet business goals is a key element to our success. Training will be provided and the GM will work directly with ownership to learn the ins and outs of the businesses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience in a combination of:
  Training and Personnel Management
  Facility Management and Operations
  Budget Oversight
  Marketing and Community Relations
  Guest Relations

• Entrepreneurial mindset a plus

• Experience in sports management, fitness or recreation industries a plus

• Must be able to work nights and weekends

Areas of Responsibility Include:

Entrepreneurial Leadership:

• Create, promote and embody a fun entrepreneurial culture with amazing guest experiences,
  strong risk management protocols and positive business results

• Anticipate and recognize business opportunities and challenges and lead the team in meeting them

• Mentor and coach team members as they progress in their careers

Operations/Management:

• Oversee, manage, and collaborate with the ownership to ensure successful day-to- day operations.

• Resolve any operational or guest experience issues which may occur professionally and efficiently.

• Forecast sales and labor, plan expenditures and meet the budgetary goals for the business.

Marketing and Business Development:

• Assist in the design and implementation of programs and marketing campaigns that reach our target demographics

• Create innovative connections and partnerships in the community.

• Oversee the allocation of our marketing budget and street team resources.

Working within a brand new entertainment facility, facilitators will greet, train, host and provide great customer service to guests.

The position will never get boring since there are three businesses to jump into:

• Archery Games: Boston's first and only archery tag facility

• Room Escape Boston: Lock groups up in our state of the art escape experiences

• Boston Playground: Supervise younger guests in our indoor play space

Facilitators have one main objective: Ensure a memorable, fun and safe experience for all guests. We offer a great place to work and very fun work environment.

Experience:

• Confidence in hosting groups and individuals

• Experience leading groups or educating / training

• Must be comfortable talking to large groups of people and being able to control and lead a group

• Polite and courteous behavior

• Able to work independently or as a part of a team - always look to fill the gaps in the team and be a productive member of the team

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• On call

• Weekend availability
